We are excited to announce a number of exciting new WellU activator roles within the Sports and Activities Department.
The WellU programme is an innovative programme set for launch at the start of the 2017/18 academic year; the programme offers a holistic approach to student and staff mental health and wellbeing, providing opportunities to engage in Sport sessions (e.g. Dance, Five-A-Side) as well as more relaxing, less physically demanding sessions such as a book club, gardening and smoothie making. In addition to the above, the WellU programme will also offer one-off events over the course of the academic year.
Following review of the previous mental health, wellbeing and sport participation programme (SW5) the sport sessions we are looking to offer as part of the WellU programme are; Badminton, Dance, Fitness (e.g. Insanity), Five-A-Side Football League and Netball (Social) League.
In order to ensure effective delivery of the WellU programme, we are looking to recruit the following specific roles;
- WellU Badminton Programme Activator
- WellU Dance Programme Activator
- WellU Fitness Programme Activator
- WellU Five-A-Side Football Programme Activator
- WellU Netball Programme Activator
