President of Education | Study Spaces

Hi all – Jenny here!

I am excited to say that I’ve completed one of my manifesto points and implemented my action in creating various study spaces within YSJ!

As part of my manifesto I wanted to work with timetabling to create a timetable of rooms free throughout the day to become allocated study spaces. I did this after hearing student feedback in the past year that the library was very busy and that students needed other locations to be able to study comfortably.

I think it’s crucial that students feel able to use different facilities at the university to facilitate various working environments – especially when there are empty spaces available to you!

I hope that these get put to great use and if you have group projects or certain learning environments that work best for you these can be used to suit your needs and enhance your best ability!

See below for rooms throughout Semester 1!
