February 2021 Elections Notice

York St John Students’ Union is a student led organisation. We work for students, and we’re run by students. Each year, we run elections to determine the leadership of the union for the next academic year. This is our official notice of the 2021 cycle of elections!


With your help, the Students’ Union will be electing an Officer Team to be the voice for students on campus in February 2021. They will lead on a range of projects & campaigns and represent the student voice to relevant bodies and committees to drive positive change and improve the student experience at YSJ.  


We have three, full-time, paid officer roles (£18,362 plus living cost increases) that are elected by you for one year, with an opportunity to re-stand in the next cycle:

Nominations open from Friday 29 January – Friday 12 February (10am-10am).

Voting will take place between Tuesday 23 February – Friday 26 February (12pm-12pm).
