P-E Blog | Soundtrack to your revision!

Hey everyone! Happy New Year to all and I hope you have had a stress-less start to January.
I know that a lot of you are facing exams and assessment deadlines around this time of the year and we at the SU are here to help! All through the exam season myself and Annie will be running around the library handing out goodie bags containing helpful tips and hints for a successful exam.
One key aspect of exams that we want to help you with is revision. One thing that is hard to complete is the perfect revision soundtrack. I'm the type of student who can't listen to any music containing lyrics whilst I'm writing notes or reading. My favourite playlist contains all my fave film soundtracks, from Star Wars to Daft Punk's Tron. Click here to have a listen
George really likes to listen to chilled out indie mixes because he's a wannabe hippy. Plus the best thing to listen to when you're stressed and on the brink of a meltdown is a chilled-out mix of Lianne La Havas and some band that you've never heard of before. Click here to listen
Annie is boring and doesn't listen to music so she recommends going on the silent floor if you're ever in full on revision mode. If you want to listen to a soulful hip-hop vibe to brighten your mood then listen to this playlist created by our own Marketing & Comms guys, Matt Allton.
Our main guy for everything to do with the SU, David Tait, has put forward the playlist of dreams - 80s smash hits! This playlist is phenomenal not only for revision but also for your after-party when you celebrate surviving your exams and deadlines. Click here to listen:
Happy listening! Hopefully me and Annie will see you this week when we're handing out treats for you all. If you don't see us, remember that the Study Development team run bookable tutorials where you can receive 1-2-1 help.
