Vacancy | President of Wellbeing and Diversity
York St John Students’ Union is led by three elected full-time officers (the President of the Students' Union, President of Education and President of Wellbeing and Diversity) and a group of part-time officers made up from Chairs of School and Liberation Officers who share the responsibility of the organisation. Each year we run annual elections where students can stand for these positions. Those who are successfully elected by their fellow students will serve full-time for one academic year. Full-time officers will also have the chance to re-stand for the position the following year.
As the President of Wellbeing and Diversity, you will have the opportunity to support students and organise campaigns to focus on student wellbeing that may include mental health, sexual health, finance and housing. You will contribute to the University's strategy and sit on the relevant committees to help drive change and make a positive impact on YSJ student life.
If you want to see change and make a difference then nominate yourself for the role!
