York St John Students’ Union is led by three elected full-time officers (the President of the Students' Union, President of Education and President of Wellbeing and Diversity) and a group of part-time officers made up from Chairs of School and Liberation Officers who share the responsibility of the organisation. Each year we run annual elections where students can stand for these positions. Those who are successfully elected by their fellow students will serve full-time for one academic year. Full-time officers will also have the chance to re-stand for the position the following year.
As President of the Students' Union you will have the opportunity to lead on a range of projects & campaigns and speak to relevant bodies and committees across the University to make the student voice heard.
