York St John Students’ Union is a charity that serves over 7000 students and is at the heart of the student experience. The union provides activities, societies, sports clubs, representation and advice to students at York St John University.
About the Role
We’re looking for a full-time Communications & Website Coordinator to join the YSJSU staff team. The successful candidate will oversee all communications, digital content and website development for the Students’ Union. This is a student facing position that plays a pivotal role in the student experience.
The post holder will support officers, staff and students with communications, campaigns and promotions of events using a variety of digital media platforms.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Students’ Union social media channels and website maintenance and development. They will plan, create and publish engaging content that reflects the Students’ Union's brand identity and values.
You will be able to adapt to changing working environments and be flexible with your approach and availability. A good working knowledge of digital marketing and computer software is essential.
