YSJSU News | The Carnival has been Cancelled

The time has come and we have made the decision. Unfortunately we have had to cancel our Summer Carnival this year due to lack of tickets sold – we were aiming for 500 by Tuesday 2nd May at 10am and we hadn't managed to meet that.

Please be assured that we will issue full refunds to all those who have purchased a ticket.

As previously stated the cost of things is naturally high to put on a good event and with all the different activities going on, we wouldn’t be able to make the most of the event without all of you there!

Cancelling the event is a shame, however we completely understand that you have other priorities to spend your money on and attend with your friends in this busy season!

We will keep planning and make sure you are all up to date with any future events; at the moment we are focussing on Summer Archie’s day to make a massive party to celebrate to end of term and the beginning of summer.

We will have live music, a hypnosis show, walk about card tricks, plenty of drink deals and of course Dominos will be returning to keep you all stuffed with pizza goodness!

We hope you have all enjoyed this year at York St John University and you all have a fantastic summer!!
