P-E Blog | Lecturer of the Month

This week we are officially launching our Lecturer of the Month awards! Each month nominations will be open for students to nominate lecturers who have been truly amazing. The winning lecturer will then receive a little treat from the Students' Union.

So I pass it over to you guys.

Have you got a lecturer who is passionate about their subject? Or maybe a lecturer who makes their sessions really interactive and fun? Do you have a lecturer who works hard to support all students taking their modules? Do they go above and beyond to bring in other departments in the university? Perhaps they're a lecturer who is constructive with their feedback which helps you improve? Then nominate them for this award and the winner will be announced during Reading Week!

My favourite lecturer during my three years at YSJ was supportive and was always willing to fit me in for a quick 1-2-1 tutorial if there was any area of study that I was confused about. They also made their lectures fun and really engaging. They also understood that we're all human and always put in a 15 minute comfort break during their reeeeeeaaallly long lectures on a Friday afternoon. Overall, I don't think I would have done half as well during their module if they hadn't been so supportive and passionate.
