This is a fantastic opportunity to test drive your CV with real employers from in and around York. You will have 10 minutes with your chosen employers to receive feedback on your CV to help you tailor it for the jobs you want. This is also a valuable networking opportunity to find out more about local businesses and could even lead to your first graduate job!

Careers Ambassadors – Applications live on Monday!
Our first year of recruiting Careers Ambassadors has been incredibly successful and now we are preparing to re-open applications for Careers Ambassadors to work with us throughout the 2017/18 academic year.
This is a competitively paid, highly flexible, on-campus position offering you experience in a range of desirable areas such as Events Management, Social Media and Marketing, Team Management and Customer Service.

Summer Internship Programme
Do you want to gain valuable work experience over the summer and get paid for it?
Introducing York St John University Summer Internship Programme.
Paid summer internships, working on projects for local small to medium business for 4 – 12 weeks.
This opportunity is available to ALL current students and is a fantastic way of improving your chances of getting a graduate job and exploring career areas of interest, all whilst getting paid!
Not got accommodation over the Summer? Don’t worry! Support will be available to ensure all successful applicants are able to secure accommodation throughout the programme.

Sodexo Internship Grant
Applications are still open for the Sodexo Career Aspiration Fund.
This fund could provide any student financial support to enable them to take paid Internships in London or Overseas or unpaid or low paid Internships in Yorkshire/NE region. It will help remove financial barriers limiting career goals and aspirations. This fund could also be used to help first and second year undergraduate students apply for Company Insight days/weeks, something which could lead to the possibility of a Summer Internship.
Grants can support:
- Cost of living expenses
- Travel Expenses (Including Visas)
- Other relevant expenses
- Cost of travel and accommodation for participation in Insight Days
