Organisation Embrace England
Location York & Surrounding Area
Description

ABOUT EMBRACE ENGLAND: www.embraceengland.co.uk

We deliver language holidays to GERMAN students aged between 13-18 at SJU. The 14 day camps act as a ‘stepping stone’ programme for students to then study at Huntington School VI Form in York.

We work closely with St John University and each year recruit ONLY SJU students who can teach various sports or dance/ drama activities during some or all of the 2018 camps. You will also be required to provide general supervisory duties in York, Manchester, Scarborough and for 2 days in London.

Students often combine working for us with other work they are doing during the camp dates. For those students who need to complete ‘Work Experience Hours’, we can guarantee this will be a superb opportunity to coach/teach and generally deal with young people.

Payment is £250 for 14 days and involves afternoon work, 2 supervisory nights at York St John Students' Union (disco) and full days on our excursions.

We provide UCAS references/written testimonies/ ‘optional’ teaching observations and feedback and anything else you feel we could help you with during and after your time with us.

So, we hope you might be interested in working for some or all of the following:

  • Easter Camp: 25 March – 7 April 2018
  • Summer Camp 1: 1 July-14 July 2018
  • Summer Camp 2: 15July – 28 July 2018
  • Summer Camp 3: 29 July – 11 August 2018
