Have you got a talent in music, drama or comedy? Why not get your name on the line up for The Talent Show?
Date: Wednesday 6th December 2017
Time: 7pm until 10:30pm
Place: Top floor of the SU
The Talent Show is the OT Society’s annual fundraising event. This year our partner charities are:
The Hut (York)
A member led day centre service for local people with learning disabilities and enduring mental health conditions. Donations will help to keep this vital service going. The organisation has supported Occupational Therapy (OT) students by offering a practice placement for third year students.
Refugee and Asylum Seekers Project - RASP (Stockton)
A small charity based in a parish church, they support asylum seekers and refugees. Following a talk to the Occupational Therapy students last year, the talk inspired our Spring into Action Campaign, this year we would like to donate towards purchasing sewing machines and leisure activities. The organisation supports OT students with their research projects.
This event is open to the whole YSJ community for a suggested donation of £4. Even if you are not performing, come and enjoy the evening. Raffle prizes! Great entertainment! Drinks at SU prices!
